Boro and health: surprising benefits, but attention to these diseases

After my last article dedicated to the boron, in which I told my very positive personal experience, I received numerous messages from people who asked me if, in the presence of certain problems or pathologies, it was possible to take it risk-free. Precisely for this reason I decided to write this new study, in which the situations in which this mineral could be contraindicated or require special caution and medical control.

As always, the information provided comes from the books I have, from scientific studies and research published over the years. Many of you now know the many benefits attributed to this substance: it plays an important role in many biological processes of the organism. It contributes to bone health by improving the use of calcium, magnesium and vitamin D, thus helping to support bone density and prevent osteoporosis and fractures. It also promotes hormonal balance, supporting free testosterone and female well-being during menopause. Its anti-inflammatory properties can be useful in joint problems, reducing pain and stiffness typical of arthrosis. Some studies also suggest positive effects on memory, concentration and brain activity, as well as its role in the proper metabolism of minerals. The boric acid, finally, has long been known for its antifungal properties and has also been used as a natural support against vaginal candidiasis.

Despite the many positive aspects, it is important to remember that it is not a substance suitable for everyone. In the presence of certain pathologies or special conditions may be contraindicated or require extreme caution, which is why it is always advisable to confront your doctor before starting any integration.

Here is the detailed list of PATOLOGIES for which the boron is contraindicated or should be used with extreme caution:

  1. CRONICA RENALE INSUFFICIENCY / RENAL MALACTS

Because it is contraindicated:

  • The boron eliminates only by renal way (through urine)
  • If the kidneys do not work well, the boron accumulates in the blood causing systemic toxicity
  • Storage risk also at normal doses (3-10 mg)
  • Can worsen residual renal function

Source: WebMD, RxList, Medscape – all medical data banks agree: "Do not take boro supplements if you have kidney problems"

Because it is contraindicated:

  • The Boro increases estrogen levels in blood (some studies show an increase of 39%)
  • In ER+ tumors (positive estrogen receptors), estrogens stimulate the growth of cancer cells
  • Risk of tumor or relapse progression

Pathologies include:

  • Mummy carcinoma ER+
  • Endometrium carcinoma
  • Ovarian carcinoma estrogen-dependent
  1. ENDOMETRIOS

Because it is contraindicated:

  • Endometriosis is a pathology estrogen- employee
  • Excess of estrogen stimulates the growth of ectopic endometrial tissue
  • The boron can worsen pelvic pain, abundant menstruation, infertility
  1. FIBROMI (MI)

Because it is contraindicated:

  • fibroids grow in response to estrogen
  • More estrogen = larger fibroids
  • Increased menstrual bleeding risk
  1. ENDOMETRIAL IPERPLAY

Because it is contraindicated:

  • Precancerous of endometrium
  • Extremely sensitive to estrogen
  • Risk of transformation in carcinoma
  1. MASCHILE FERTILITY PROBLEMS

Because it is contraindicated (at doses >20 mg):

  • Animal studies: high doses cause atrophy of seminiferous tubules
  • Germ cell loss (spermatogons)
  • Reduction of sperm motility
  • FSH and Testosterone Alteration

Please note: At normal doses (3-10 mg) the risk is minimal, but men with already compromised fertility must avoid.

  1. FREEDOM

Because it is contraindicated:

  • No study has verified safety in human pregnancy
  • Animal studies: high doses cause fetal malformations (development delay, reduced weight)
  • Theoretical risk of interference with fetal hormonal development
  • The boron crosses the placental barrier
  1. ANALYSIS

Because it is contraindicated:

  • Pass in breast milk
  • Effects on unknown newborns
  • Undocumented security

Because it is contraindicated:

  • Skin reactions (orticaria, rash, itching)
  • Gastrointestinal reactions (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea)
  • Rarely: anaphylactic reactions
  1. SUSTAINABLE ORMONAL TEAP (HRT) OR EXTROGENCY CONTRACTS

Why should be used with caution:

  • The Boro enhances the effect of estrogens exogenous
  • Risk of estrogenic "soverradosage"
  • Side effects: swelling, breast tension, nausea, thrombosis risk increase

Drugs involved:

  • Estradiol, Premarin, conjugated estrogen
  • Estrogenic oral contraceptives
  • Estrogenic vaginal rings

Pathology Reason for the contraindication Risk level
Renal insufficiency Toxic accumulation (renal elimination) OTHER
Breast cancer/oven/uterus ER+ tumor growth stimulation OTHER
Endometry Increased symptoms MEDIO-ALTO
uterine fibroids Mythical growth MEDIUM
Male infertility Damage to sperm MEDIO (if >20mg)
Pregnancy/feeding Security data absent MEDIUM
Estrogenic Therapy Strengthening effects MEDIUM

In conclusion, if you suffer from one of these pathologies, it may be useful to talk to your doctor, who can assess whether an integration is suitable for your case and monitor over time its effects on the body. The fact that this substance often reduces low-grade systemic inflammation in relatively short time – today considered one of the main factors involved in the development of numerous diseases, including cardiovascular disease – makes it understand how interesting its potential support for general health.
